Description
At least six people have died and several thousand homes flooded as Haiti’s rainy season continues to bring suffering on the people of this French-speaking Caribbean Community (CARICOM) country.
Rains have also resulted in 245 families being relocated and 8,379 homes being flooded as a result of overflowing rivers in recent days.
Three of the deaths occurred in Cite Soleil, a district of Port-au-Prince and three others in Delmas, and Carrefour.
